About Us

Established in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in November 2020 by Nicola Thorp and Yolanda Calzado Gil, MINDHEART Creative Therapies C.I.C. was built to nurture the social and emotional wellbeing of the community, providing opportunities for growth and transformation through Creative Arts Therapies.

Our approach is systemic, holistic, person-centred, playful, and creative. The process and journey are most important.

Although children and young people are at the heart of the support we provide, our ‘joined-up’ and integrative approach means we provide parents, carers, school staff, and mental health professionals support too, in the form of consultancy, supervision, and workshops.
